On Thursday 27 June, Weil hosted the first anniversary and awards party of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (“IWIRC”) London Network on the roof terrace of its London offices.
The event was well attended with over 100 guests enjoying a thought provoking talk from Susan Dunn of Harbour Litigation Funding Limited. A number of awards were presented including the “Be Inspired” Award to Weil associate Tayyibah Arif recognising her inspirational efforts in promoting the success of the IWIRC network in its first year in London.
IWIRC is a network committed to the connection, promotion and success of women in the insolvency and restructuring profession, now in its 26th year with over 45 networks worldwide, including London, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and the US. Through a global membership of more than 1500 professionals, it provides a platform for its members to develop a powerful network of contacts and referrals, and opportunities for leadership positions at local and global levels.
Weil looks forward to supporting IWIRC London’s continued success in its second year and beyond.
